Evaluation!

Soooo many great things happened in the last 10 days.

1) I went to Arizona: Such a trip! So intense! Amazingly weird place! I had my first Ice-Skating experience ever. I never fell off! After two hours I was perfectly able to skate smoothly! Great success!!

2) I went to Washington DC: I gave a presentation at the IMF building for the World Bank people. Such a stress and experience! I stayed in a very nice Hotel and explored DC. Beautiful city. I spent hours in the Smithsonian museum. I sang country songs with random people in a Karoeke bar! Great place! I even liked it somehow more than our own old and filthy New York.

3) Beduk came here yay!, and stayed a few days. We went to New York, we went to hiking, we went to shopping... we ate a lot! We talked a lot! It was great and he just left!

4) I solved my contract and job issues temporarily (may be for a year at least) . I had a three hours meeting with the boss. It went great!

Conclusion: It seems like 30's are not bad at all!

Weeelll, not everything is that rosy! I just discovered that I am officially "deserted from the military service" and while I am typing these lines, I am also typing my defense in the other tab! (no, I don't want to get arrested in the Istanbul Airport and spend the night in the " karakol"!)

Updated conclusion: Wait and see! You have seen nothing yet!

  1. What makes Arizona so intense? I lived there for some part of my life, found nothing but the infinite desert.

  2. Arizona was absolutely an infinite desert! A great example of inefficiency and urban insanity! It wasn't intense at all. My experience in Arizona, my trip, however, was very intense!
